About JewelIntake

JewelIntake is an Android app for jewellery stores, watch repairers, goldsmiths and independent repair counters. It is currently available through Google Play in Australia only and is published by ardakara .NET.

Why we built it

Even a straightforward repair creates a surprising amount of information: what the item looks like, what the customer wants, photos, a quote, payments, signatures and two handovers. Paper tags and separate files make that story harder to follow, especially when more than one person handles the job.

JewelIntake brings those details together under one reference. It is deliberately focused on the repair and the customer receipt trail.

What it helps you do

With JewelIntake, a repair business can:

• Record customers and multiple jewellery or watch items
• Document existing condition and requested work
• Categorise photos and keep them with the correct repair
• Track quotes, deposits, payments, refunds and balances
• Follow repair status from intake to collection
• Capture signatures at both customer handovers
• Generate and share PDF drop-off and collection receipts

Where it fits in your business

JewelIntake works beside the systems you already use. It does not replace your point-of-sale, inventory, accounting or card-processing software, and it does not send customer messages automatically.

Working records are stored locally on the Android device rather than automatically uploaded to a hosted JewelIntake business database. This allows the core workflow to remain available without a constant internet connection, but it also means the business is responsible for device security and external backups.
