Jewellery Repair Software for Intake and Job Tracking
Jewellery repair software for Android with job tracking, condition photos, quotes, payments, signatures and PDF receipts from intake to collection.
JewelIntake is jewellery repair tracking software for jewellers, goldsmiths and repair counters. It keeps the story of a repair together—from the first item description to the final customer receipt.
It runs on compatible Android phones and tablets. Each job keeps the customer, item details, photos, quote, payments and receipts together, so staff do not have to piece the record together later.

Start free on Google PlayA practical fit for a repair counter
JewelIntake suits a small jewellery store, workshop or repair counter that wants to move away from handwritten repair envelopes, camera-roll photos and separate payment notes.
Use it to:
- Book in jewellery repairs at a counter using an Android device
- Record several pieces under one customer job reference
- Photograph existing wear, damage and identifying details
- Track the quote, deposit, later payments and balance owing
- Know whether work is received, approved, in repair or ready for collection
- Give the customer a signed PDF receipt at drop-off and collection
It does not replace your point-of-sale, inventory, card-processing or accounting system. It looks after the part those systems often miss: what the customer left with you and what happened before it was handed back.
Built around the repair, not the sale
Many jewellery systems focus on stock, sales and accounting. JewelIntake focuses on the repair itself: the item that came in, its condition, the work requested and the two customer handovers.
That gives your staff a simple way to:
- Create a clear repair job at drop-off
- Recording jewellery item details, materials, stones, size and condition
- Attaching condition photos to the right job
- Tracking quotes, deposits, payments and balances
- Capturing signatures at drop-off and collection
- Generating PDF receipts for the customer
One reference from drop-off to collection
Every repair job has its own reference. Staff can update the status as the item moves from received to quoted, approved, in repair, ready for collection and collected.
Anyone opening the job can see where it stands and what has already happened, without relying on the person who originally booked it in.
Record the condition while the item is in front of you
A repair record should identify the piece and distinguish the customer’s concern from the condition staff can see. Jewellery fields cover item type, metal or material, stones, size, declared value, existing condition, requested work and special instructions.
Photos can be taken in the app or selected from the Android photo picker. Categorise them as drop-off, damage or condition, during repair, completed or collection, then add a caption where the image needs explanation. This creates a more useful record than storing unlabelled photos in the device gallery.
For a repeatable counter process, follow the step-by-step jewellery repair intake guide.
Keep the money side clear
Enter the quote and any deposit at intake, then add progress payments, final payments or refunds to the same job. JewelIntake recalculates the amount paid, payment status and balance owing when the payment history changes.
The app records transactions entered by the business; it does not process a customer’s card or replace bookkeeping software. This separation keeps the repair record clear without pretending to be a complete retail platform.
Give the customer a receipt at both handovers
JewelIntake creates customer-facing PDF receipts for both handovers. The drop-off receipt records what was received and agreed. The collection receipt confirms the return of the item, the final payment position and the collection signature.
Receipts can include item descriptions, selected photos, quotes, payments, business details and customer signatures.

Keep working records on your Android device
The working database, photos, signatures and generated PDFs are stored locally on the Android device. Staff can continue using the core repair workflow without a constant internet connection or a JewelIntake cloud account.
Because the records are local, the business controls where exported files are saved and is responsible for device security and backups. JewelIntake Pro can create a ZIP backup containing the database and related files, and can export job information to CSV.

Can I try JewelIntake without paying?
Yes. Free supports the complete intake-to-collection workflow for up to 10 active jobs and up to 3 photos per job. Collected and cancelled jobs do not use an active slot. Compare the Free and Pro plans.
Can one repair job contain multiple jewellery items?
Yes. Each item has its own description, condition and requested-work details while remaining under the same customer and job reference.
Does JewelIntake work on iPhone, Windows or a web browser?
No. JewelIntake is currently an Android app and requires Android 8.0 or later on a compatible device.
Does it send automatic customer messages?
No. JewelIntake can prepare a ready-for-collection message and open the device’s SMS composer. A staff member reviews and sends the message, so communication does not go out automatically.
Is JewelIntake cloud-based?
No. Working repair records are stored locally on the device rather than in a hosted JewelIntake business account. Pro provides backup and export tools for businesses that need an external copy.
