Privacy Policy
How JewelIntake handles locally stored repair records, photos, signatures, exported files, Google Play subscription information and website request data.

This Privacy Policy explains how the JewelIntake Android app and website handle information. JewelIntake is published by ardakara .NET.
Information stored by the app
JewelIntake stores its working business data locally on the Android device. Depending on how the app is used, this information may include:
- Business profile and tax registration details
- Customer contact details, address and notes
- Repair job and item information
- Photos of jewellery, watches and item condition
- Quotes and manually entered payment records
- Customer names and signatures
- Generated PDF receipts
- App settings and subscription status
JewelIntake does not provide a hosted business database or automatic cloud sync. Repair records, photos and signatures are not uploaded to ardakara .NET as part of the normal app workflow.
Exporting, sharing and backing up information
When you share a receipt, CSV export or ZIP backup, Android sends the file to the app or location you choose. This may include email, messaging, cloud storage or a file service.
The selected destination handles the file under its own privacy and security practices. You are responsible for choosing an appropriate destination, protecting exported files and obtaining any consent required for the customer information your business records.
Google Play subscriptions
Google Play processes JewelIntake Pro purchases, renewals, cancellations and payment methods. JewelIntake checks Google Play to confirm subscription access and keeps a limited status record on the device so Pro features can respond appropriately when the device is temporarily offline.
JewelIntake and ardakara .NET do not receive or store your full payment card number. Information processed by Google Play is handled under Google’s privacy terms.
Device permissions
JewelIntake may request camera access when you take an item photo. It also uses Android file pickers and sharing tools when you choose an existing photo, save a file, restore a backup or share an export.
These permissions and system tools are used only when needed for the feature you select.
Website information
The JewelIntake website does not use customer accounts, advertising trackers or a contact form. The hosting provider may process standard request information, such as IP address, browser details, requested pages and security logs, to deliver and protect the website.
If you select an external link, including Google Play or the ardakara .NET website, the destination site applies its own privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
App information remains on the device until it is deleted in JewelIntake, removed by Android, replaced during a restore or deleted when the app is uninstalled.
Uninstalling the app or losing access to the device may permanently remove local records. Create an external backup before uninstalling JewelIntake, resetting the device or moving to another device.
Your business responsibilities
The business using JewelIntake decides what customer information to record and how long to keep it. Each business is responsible for its privacy notices, customer consent, device security, access controls, data retention and compliance with the laws that apply to its operations.
Children
JewelIntake is business software and is not directed to children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change when the app, website or legal requirements change. The latest revision date appears at the top of the page.
