Watch Repair Software for Intake and Collection

Keep each watch repair organised on Android, with identifying details, condition photos, quotes, payments, progress, signatures and receipts together.

JewelIntake gives watchmakers, jewellers and repair counters one clear record of what came in, what the customer reported and what happened before the watch was handed back.

Each job keeps the customer, watch details, condition notes, photos, quote, payments and receipts together under one reference.

A practical fit for a watch repair counter

JewelIntake suits a small workshop or retail counter using an Android phone or tablet. It replaces paper tickets, camera-roll photos and separate payment notes with one job staff can find again.

Use it to:

  • Identify the watch and everything left with it
  • Separate the customer’s reported problem from visible condition notes
  • Photograph scratches, case condition, the dial, bracelet and identifying numbers
  • Record a quote, assessment fee, deposit and later payments
  • Follow the job through received, quoted, approved, in repair and collection stages
  • Capture signatures and issue PDF receipts at both handovers

It does not manage spare parts, workshop time, stock, card payments or accounting. Its job is simpler: keep the watch, customer handover, progress and receipts together.

Describe the watch while it is at the counter

A useful watch repair intake record should make it clear which watch was received and what the customer asked you to investigate. JewelIntake gives staff a consistent place to record:

  • Brand, model and reference details
  • Serial number or other identifying marks
  • Strap or bracelet information
  • Battery request or reported fault
  • Water-resistance discussion
  • Visible scratches, wear or damage
  • Requested work and approval notes

Record accessories such as a box, spare links or a detached strap in the item description or special instructions so the collection record is clear. The watch repair intake checklist explains how to document water-resistance discussions and distinguish an intake observation from a workshop diagnosis.

See where the repair is up to

Use repair job statuses to show whether the watch is received, quoted, approved, in repair, ready for collection or collected. The same record holds the quote, payments, photos and customer-facing notes.

Staff can open the job and understand where it stands without finding the person who booked it in.

When a job is ready, JewelIntake can prepare an SMS containing the customer name, watch details, job reference and balance owing. It opens the Android SMS composer for staff to review and send; messages are not sent automatically.

Keep the photos, payments and receipts together

Watch repairs often need clear condition records. JewelIntake keeps drop-off, damage, during-repair, completed and collection photos attached to the job, with optional captions when an image needs context.

At drop-off and collection, staff can capture the customer’s signature and generate a PDF receipt that reflects the latest job information.

The drop-off receipt can document what was received, visible condition, requested work, quote and deposit. The collection receipt reflects completed work, the final payment position and the signature recorded when the watch is returned.

Keep working records on your Android device

JewelIntake stores the working database, photos, signatures and generated PDFs locally. The core workflow does not require a constant internet connection or a hosted JewelIntake business account.

Pro users can create a full ZIP backup of the database and related files and export job data to CSV. Because records are local, the business remains responsible for device access, external backups and choosing secure destinations when files are shared.

Before you try JewelIntake

Can I use JewelIntake for watch battery jobs?

Yes. Watch fields include battery requirements alongside brand, model, serial or reference details, strap information, condition, reported fault and requested work.

Can I record more than one watch on a job?

Yes. Multiple items can remain under one customer job reference while each watch keeps its own identifying details, condition and requested work.

Does it test or guarantee water resistance?

No. JewelIntake provides a field for recording the water-resistance discussion. Testing, technical assessment and any guarantee remain the responsibility of the repair business.

Does it work without internet access?

The core record-keeping workflow uses local device storage and is designed to remain available without a constant connection. Google Play subscription purchase or restoration and external sharing services require their respective connections.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Free supports up to 10 active jobs and the full intake-to-collection workflow. Compare Free and Pro for photo, branding, search, export and backup limits.
